180 days of attendance each school year. (It helps to plan out your school schedule for the year with a calendar.)
When you submit an assignment in Bright Thinker, an attendance day will automatically be recorded
Progress should be continual and consistent.
Continual means it is always increasing. Consistent means learning is happening every day.
10% progress is expected each month.
Each course has 10 units and we're in school for 10 months so the easiest math is to be sure students complete 1 unit in every course every month so that all 10 are done by the end of May.
Some programs are based on usage and not progress. (For example. Rosetta Stone is an exploratory course.) In these courses, I look for consistent use as the gauge for progress.
If you are struggling to make progress, Mrs. Morales will make a plan with you to get on track.
