FASHION DESIGN & BEHAVIORAL HEALTH STATE TEST

You have the opportunity to take the CTE Skills State Test for your FCS course. This test is completely optional and has NO impact on your grade.

The CTE test is an optional test that measures student understanding of core standards and competencies. If you pass the CTE test with proficiency and achieve a level of moderate to highly-skilled on all the performance objectives within your course (that means you have completed your course in Canvas and turned in all your unit projects with a grade of at least 80%), you will receive a certificate of achievement.

CTE State Test Passing Thresholds:

Behavioral Health: 72%

Fashion Design: 74%

HOW DO I TAKE THE STATE TEST??

The test will be taken remotely and proctored online (using AI) on a specific day and time. All students enrolled in my classes are either required to take the test OR opt-out.

You will not be penalized in any way for opting out. This test is totally optional!!

TWO OPTIONS--PLEASE PICK ONE!

OPTION 1: TAKE THE STATE TEST

(VIRTUAL PROCTOR)

This brand new option of taking the state test online from home with an AI proctor on a date arranged with Mrs. Evans. If you choose this option you need to be 100% complete with your online work and have access to a computer with a mic and a camera. If you would like to take the CTE Skills Test, please fill out THIS INTEREST FORM with a valid email address and testing information will be sent to you as the testing date gets closer.

TO TEST: Follow the preparatory instructions found in the button below and be ready 15 minutes prior to the testing time.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR REMOTE PROCTORING: These are the instructions you will use on the date of your test.

OPTION 2: OPT OUT OF THE STATE TEST

If you chose NOT to take the test, you will fill out and submit this opt-out form: OPT OUT FORM.

Once you have completed the form, either take a picture, scan it, or fill it out digitally on on your computer. Upload it and submit it in your Canvas course under the assignment titled CTE Skills Test INTEREST OR OPT OUT FORM. If you take more than one class from me, submit the same form in each class.
