Elyssa Branin grew up in Southern Utah where she developed her love for the outdoors. She loves to hike, run, camp, and garden. In addition, she likes to bake sourdough, decorate cakes, sew, crochet, read, and hang out with her husband, three cats and two dogs. She lived abroad in Canada, where she learned to speak French and experience diversity in cultures and lifestyles. She is excited to help students overcome struggles, develop an understanding of and appreciation for math and its applications in everyday life.
