Semester I:
Growth of the US Immigration Interview- You will be interviewing someone you know who has lived in a foreign country. Either they have moved here or have lived abroad for some time. Then, compare their experience to the immigrants of the 1800 and 1900s.
1920's and Clash of Cultures- Explore a cultural clash from the 1920s and connect it to a similar issue today. Then, showcase what you discover in a creative one-pager that highlights both historical and modern perspectives.
Semester II:
Atomic Bomb Ethics- You will be reading primary source documents that are for and against dropping the Atomic Bomb on Japan. Then argue why or why we should have not dropped the Atomic Bomb.
Civil Rights Comparative- You will be comparing aspects of the Civil Rights Movement to a Movement of your Choice. Then choosing 1 aspect to create a 2-minute speech on.
