In Spanish 1 we will start learning Spanish using games and activities, projects, reading, speaking, etc. We'll focus on grammar like adjectives, gender agreement, through present tense verb conjugations. I'm excited to have you join!Â

We are lucky enough to have our own World Language Library at Utah Online. When you are enrolled in a World Language course at Utah Online you get access to our collection of language books! Many of these books are in Spanish, and some of them focus on ASL culture. There are some assignments in your courses that use some books, but there are many more that you can read on your own to practice reading Spanish and use what you are learning in real life!
We also have reading challenges throughout the semester where you can win prizes for reading Spanish books in our digital library! Reach out to me to see when the next challenge is!

Meet your teacher
Mr Lind has taught Spanish at Utah Online since the year 2020. Before that he taught some introductory Spanish courses at Utah State University.
He loves making the learning process fun, and finding new ways to engage in language that work for each person learning it.
