Teacher

With over a decade of experience in education, Maddie is dedicated to helping students connect with the world around them through the lens of the Social Sciences. She earned her B.S. from Brigham Young University and her M.Ed. from Southern Utah University, and has been at Utah Online School since 2012. Her courses in Sociology and US Government and Citizenship reflect her belief in the power of understanding diverse perspectives. Outside of teaching, Maddie enjoys playing board games, skiing, walking in good weather, reading, learning new things, and traveling. She lives in the Mountain West with her husband, a veterinarian, and their three children.
