Things to do

Some fun attractions we love are Kane Creek where you can find petroglyphs and there are great options for hiking, biking, or off-roading; a beautiful drive along the river; and various other recreational activities. Potash Road, where you can find more petroglyphs, access to the Colorado River, rock climbing, various hiking trails or a beautiful drive along the Colorado River. Fisher Towers Northeast of Moab on scenic route 128. Along the route you will find biking trails, hiking trails and access to the Colorado River. Sand Flats Recreation Area (this area is managed by the Bureau of Land Management), which has a nominal access fee, but is worthwhile considering you will access Slickrock and Porcupine Rim bike trails, and Fins and Things and Hell’s Revenge Jeep trails. Arches National Park. The entrance to the park can become congested, so it is advised that you arrive early for quickest access. The visitor’s center provides running water and flush toilets, otherwise plan for pit toilets throughout the park. Bring plenty of water so as not to become dehydrated. In Arches you will find Sand Dune Arch, Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch and many other amazing scenes. This national park is well worth the visit. Dead Horse Point State Park (approximately 36 miles Northwest from our complex, but well worth the experience). Canyonlands National Park (approximately 33 miles Northwest from our complex, but well worth the experience). Please visit the mountain biking page for more information about biking in the area.
