You are welcome to use the wood burning stove. There is a blow dryer next to the fireplace that you should run for 10 minutes the first time before you light the fire. Place it blowing the hot air up the chimney for ten minutes, then light the fire as far to the back of the fireplace as you can. There will be some smoke that comes out while trying to light it. Also, the wood burning stove is not for cooking. And it can get very hot. Please do not let children get close to it. Do not use any lighter fluid or flame retardant to light the fire. If there's not firewood inside by the fireplace, there is more outside under the tarp in the back of the back. Try to keep enough wood in there so it will catch a good fire for a while. Then, just keep the doors of the wood burning stove closed. You can leave it burning over night, with the doors closed, of course. Sorry it's tricky. Once you get it going, you can turn on the blower (switch to the left) and it warms up the cabin pretty well. Just turn off the blower over night. You'll still want to keep the furnace on though, but it can get hot upstairs, so you may not want the heat up too much at night.
