MAIN STREET UTAH WORKING GROUP

IN PROGRESS: In 2021, RCC members and others joined together for the passage of S.B. 194, which created a Main Street program for Utah! Over the years, RCC members have been working diligently on re-establishing a Main Street program in Utah. A couple of years ago, Brigham Young University graduate Sarah Curry shared findings from her master's research on this very topic. Currently, Nan Anderson from the Governor's Center for Rural Development is leading this program, and they are piloting Main Street support in 15+ communities across the state.
