Township and Range Locator

Use the township and range locator to zoom to a specific township and range.

The State of Utah has two meridians: Salt Lake and Uinta Basin. The Salt Lake Meridian covers the majority of the state while the Uinta Basin Meridian covers areas of Duchesne, Uintah and Wasatch Counties.

How to Find a Township and Range

  1. Select Meridian (Salt Lake or Uinta Basin) from the drop-down list.
  2. Select Township (only valid townships will display according to the Meridian chosen) from the drop-down list.
  3. Select Range (only valid ranges will display according to the Township chosen) from the drop-down list.
  4. Select Section (optional) from the drop-down list.
  5. Click Zoom to zoom to the selected Township, Range and Section.
