KEY PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
SR-177 (West Davis Corridor) currently runs from Farmington to SR-193. From Farmington to a point just south of 700 South in Syracuse, the corridor is a divided freeway with two lanes in each direction. Between 700 South and SR-193, the road narrows to one lane in each direction and is no longer divided. This project will extend SR-177 as a four-lane divided freeway from 700 South up to 1800 North (SR-37).
Elements of construction include:
Roadway and trail construction with asphalt paving
Highway bridge construction at 700 S, SR-193, 300 N, 800 N, and 1300 N
Pedestrian bridge construction at SR-193 and 200 S
Park and ride at 1800 North
Drainage improvements
Utility relocations
Noise walls
Signs and striping
Signals, ITS, and lighting
Landscaping and erosion control
ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE
Early 2026 Project Advertisement & Prebid Meeting
Spring 2026 Begin Construction
Summer 2028 Complete Construction
