Abigale Plunk
My name is Abigale Plunk, and I am a senior Electrical Engineering major working towards minors in both math and computer science. I will be attending Vanderbilt University in the fall to pursue a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering. I was in charge of ensuring AutonoMop navigated the floor in an efficient way as well as most other electrical components of AutonoMop. Abigale can be reached at abigale.l.plunk@vanderbilt.edu
Jenna Smith
I am Jenna Smith, and I am a senior Mechnical Engineering major with a minor in mathematics. My primary responsibility on the team was to design the body and any components that were located below it such as the wet and dry brushes and water collection port. My main objectives were to reduce weight and keep AutonoMop compact to provide an easy-to-use product for the final consumer.
Donnie Strickland
I am Donnie Strickland, and I am a senior Manufacturing Engineering student. My responsibility on the team was to design and build the process module that resides on top of the AutonoMop. My goal was to design and build a unit that not only worked, but to make best use of the space where it existed.
We are looking for highly motivated students to continue our work next year! If you are interested, please contact Dr. Saman Sargolzaei at saman@utm.edu.
