At the PNG May 2025 event, most countries developed a strategic goal. In November 2025, a survey was sent to participants from each country to gather updates on goal implementation, assess progress, and identify enablers and bottlenecks. The findings will be used to provide tailored support and inform future IPhas events.
Australia
By December 2026, improve health integration and participation in 100% of relevant multi-sectoral regional and global civilian-military forums.
Japan
Enhance Civ-Mil relationship by developing 80% of a tabletop exercise within that next year that focuses on civ-mil relationship.
Papua New Guinea
-Within 12 months, review and update the MOU between PNGDF and NDOH; to strengthen military-civilian collaboration.
-By August 7th, 2025, set up a meeting with civil partners (PHAs, public health, local DDA’s etc.) and stakeholders by to understand the different roles and responsibilities during emergencies.
-Within one year, establish a civ-mil health committee with NDA, DMO, NHP that will include quarterly meetings, two exercises per year and joint deployments.
