Serials section is functioning at the first floor of the College Library. It is the source of current and the latest published information which is very useful in research work. This section is responsible for the , processing, circulation, and preservation of all popular magazines, professional journals, newspapers, newsletters and electronic resources held by the Library. It acquires journals of almost all the subjects. One national newspaper and two local newspapers with in Misamis Oriental are subscribed. International magazines like Times, Newsweek, Reader’s Digest, Popular Science magazine, Discovery Channel, etc. are also subscribed. 

Recent issues of most titles are arranged alphabetically on shelves. When a volume of a journal or file of a newspaper is completed, it is get binded. Back files of journals, magazine are bound and arranged alphabetically on shelves adjacent to the recent paper issues. Back files of newspapers are bound and arranged chronologically at the stock room.
