The GeoClub of USTHB announces the upcoming scientific event “Mining Development: Gold Exploration and Mineral Potential of the Hoggar Region”, to be held on November 2, 2025, at USTHB. This conference will address the geological aspects of gold mineralizations in southern Algeria, emphasizing the Hoggar, By integrating insights from economic geology, the event aims to foster scientific exchange between researchers, professionals, and students, promoting a deeper understanding of gold exploration dynamics and mining development strategies within Algeria’s mineral sector.
