“Tara Sining!” is a one-day event organized by the UST-SHS MAD Society in honor and celebration of National Arts Month. It features various activities for artists to appreciate the rich beauty of Filipino Culture. The event includes a fun-filled workshop of arts and crafts, capped off with a mixed-media contest where artists show off their unique artistic prowess in creating their Filipino-inspired pieces.

From the wondrous crafts in Pampanga to the breathtaking sceneries in Rizal, truly in every place you visit, you’d truly see the beauty of the Philippines through different yet astonishing cultures. As a prerequisite in their Creative Industries I and II class, the UST-SHS Grade 11 MAD students introduced “Luzon Expo 2023”, a one-day event held on the 21st Floor of the Bl. Pier Giorgio Frassati Building. These talented artists aimed to tour their visitors around the wonders and treasured gems of Luzon through their diverse yet thrilling booths.

The UST SHS Music, Arts and Design Comic Convention

“MAD Got Talent” is an online talent showcase during Freshmen Week 2023, providing a platform for Grade 11 MAD students to exhibit their creativity and expertise in diverse art forms. The talent showcase focuses mainly on four categories; the art category encompassing both traditional and digital art, the media category comprising photography and videography, the literary arts category comprising poetry, fiction, and nonfiction), and the performing arts category comprising music, dance, and acting. This event served as an opportunity for Grade 11 students to articulate their creative prowess and showcase their talents and aspirations.

“IMAGINE: A Glimpse of An Artist’s Life” is an interactive forum open to all Thomasian students, held during the UST SHS Week 2023. The event was meticulously crafted to center on the personal experiences, hardships, and lessons of artists in their journey within their diverse disciplines and respective fields. The project aimed to shed light on the multifaceted and unwavering commitment among UST SHS students to becoming remarkable artists. Through the compelling narratives shared by esteemed speakers, it aspires to empower the art industry and the UST SHS community.

“MADPasikat” is an online talent variety showcase held during Freshmen Week 2022. The event not only allowed freshies to introduce themselves but also an avenue for them to unveil their artistic creations and unique talent to the UST SHS and MAD community. The event was simply characterized by a vibrant tapestry of self-expression, providing the Grade 11 students an opportunity to express their individuality and passion through various art mediums.
