Conference Scholarship for Outstanding Student Papers
Conference Scholarship for Outstanding Student Papers
Student participants who wish to present at this year’s conference may also apply for a scholarship, courtesy of our conference partners and sponsors.
Open to Senior High School and Tertiary level students only.
Limited slots are available, and to ensure the highest quality of student presenters, additional requirements should be met.
Full paper submissions in PDF format are required for students who wish to avail of the conference scholarship.
Type “(FOR CONFERENCE SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION)” after your research/presentation title when you fill in the details at Easychair.
A one-page signed letter of recommendation from your research adviser, indicating the name/s of the authors, attached as an appendix at the end of the full paper.
Scanned copy of your research paper’s signed approval sheet, indicating the grade for the final paper, which should not be lower than 90%, attached as an appendix at the end of the full paper.
Scanned copies of the latest school registration form and ID of the author/presenter, attached as an appendix at the end of the full paper.
Student presenters (non-UST students) must be responsible for securing their respective clearances and other necessary permits to join and participate in this activity.
Enrolled students of the University of Santo Tomas (Manila campus) may skip this requirement, as the event will be held on the University's premises.
The scholarship will apply to only one student per presentation.
The deadline for scholarship applicants to submit will be March 15, 2026. The earlier deadline is necessary to screen all submissions, obtain approval from the conference partners and sponsors, and give students enough time to secure the necessary permits. Notice of acceptance for the conference scholarship will be on March 18, 2026.
Successful scholars will only pay Php 500 for the conference.
