This hybrid international seminar-workshop will gather a maximum of 80 in-person and 100 online participants consisting of academics, community leaders, humanitarian workers, civil society organization actors, private sector stakeholders, and government actors to discuss the governance of complex disasters in the Southeast Asia Region with a specific focus on the management of the COVID-19 pandemic alongside environmentally related hazards. This 3-day event will feature lectures, workshops, and a write shop. Another highlight of this event will be a technical training on humanitarian coordination at the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation Operations Center in Clark, Pampanga.
