Taal, formally the Municipality of Taal, is a third-class municipality in the Philippine province of Batangas. It has a population of 61,460 people, according to the 2020 census. Taal is well-known for its old ancestral houses dating back to the Spanish colonial era.
There are two distinct climatic types in Batangas: Type I and Type II. Type I has two seasons: dry from November to April and wet from the year's remaining months. On the other hand, Type II has distinct seasons; it is primarily dry from November to April and rainy for the remainder of the year. In general, Batangas experiences a cool and humid climate. However, this changes depending on the local geography. The warmest month is May, while February is the coldest.
