Mohamad Wadi Annuar bin Ayub, more affectionately known as Ustaz Wadi, was born on 20 September 1983 in Kota Kuala Muda, Kedah, Malaysia. He received his early education at Sekolah Rendah Al Islah and Maktab Mahmud Alor Setar. His leadership qualities were evident from his school days.
Ustaz Wadi Annuar is actively involved in Islamic missionary work (dakwah) as an Independent Preacher, and he also contributes significantly to charity work within the Muslim community. Some of his most impactful lectures include Kisah Akhir Zaman (Stories of the End Times), Mahsyar (The Day of Gathering), Syurga & Neraka (Heaven & Hell), and Sirah Rasulullah (the Biography of the Prophet Muhammad).
With extensive experience in various fields, Ustaz Wadi Annuar has served in education and continued his preaching both locally and internationally after completing his studies in Syria. He has worked as a Secondary School Teacher in private institutions and Government-aided Religious Schools (SABK). He also founded a Tahfiz school named Maahad Tahfiz Al Annuar, located in Taman Ria Jaya, Sungai Petani.
In addition, Ustaz Wadi has been invited by numerous television stations to deliver sermons. His appearances include being a Guest Panelist on TV3's Al-Kuliyyah, a featured personality on TV Al-Hijrah’s Semusim Di Barzakh, a Final Judge on Akademi Da’ie Muda YADIM, a Panelist on the End of Times series (10 episodes) on Astro OASIS, and a Guest Speaker on Riwayat Akhir Zaman (9 episodes) on TV Al-Hijrah. He is also the author of a book titled “Andai Umat Ini Hidup Seperti Saidina Umar” (If This Ummah Lived Like Saidina Umar).
Well-known for his emotionally impactful sermons, Ustaz Wadi Annuar has drawn significant public attention and has been invited to speak at many prominent mosques across Malaysia. These include Masjid Negara Kuala Lumpur, Masjid Sultan Abdul Aziz (Shah Alam), Masjid Al-Bukhari (Alor Setar, Kedah), Masjid Tengku Ampuan Jemaah (Bukit Jelutong), Masjid Al Falah (USJ 9), Masjid At-Taqwa (Bertam Indah), Masjid Sultan Ahmad Shah, Masjid Sultan Abidin (Terengganu), and Masjid Syeikh Abdullah Fahim (Penang).
Today, Ustaz Wadi Annuar’s name is recognized across Malaysia, appealing to diverse segments of society. He frequently receives invitations to speak from various government and non-government agencies, universities, public and private companies, state mosques, and television networks.
His social media presence is also notable, with 1.2 million followers on Facebook, 1.2 million on Instagram, 2.9 million on TikTok, and 820,000 subscribers on YouTube.

“Niat kerana Allah, dunia dapat akhirat pun dapat” —
“With intention for the sake of Allah, you gain both this world and the Hereafter.”
