The “1st Symposium on Skeletal Muscle Physiology and Pathology” is an event with an international scope, which will be held at the Butantã campus of the University of São Paulo on November 13-14, 2023, bringing together researchers from Brazil and abroad who are dedicated to the study of skeletal muscle physiology and pathology. This event will be free and open to the community. The symposium will have lectures on three main topics: muscle trophism, muscle regeneration, and muscle diseases. In addition, graduate and undergraduate students and post-docs will be encouraged to present their work in pitch presentations. The symposium will be an excellent opportunity to bring together researchers interested in the field, disseminate their scientific results, and stimulate collaborative work.
