Founded in 1995 by Dr. Eduardo Marques, the Reconfigurable Computing Laboratory (LCR) is a research laboratory of the Department of Computing Systems (SSC) from the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (ICMC) at The University of São Paulo (USP).

Currently, LCR has four physical units, the first unit concentrates activities related to hardware architecture design based on FPGA, the second unit is a Neurocognitive Engineering Lab. (NEL), the third unit is dedicated to VANT design and assembly, and the fourth unit works with optimization by complex data mining and solutions to the industry.
