Andréa Prokopczyk Arita has been a professor at the Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho”, in Brazil, since 2010. She works mainly with the following topics: functional differential equations, semigroup theory, control theory. She got her PhD at ICMC in 2009.
Eduard Toon has been a professor at the Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, in Brazil, since 2013. His research interests concern measure differential equations, generalized ODEs, dynamic equations on time scales, and partial differential equations. He became a doctor in Mathematics in 2012 at ICMC.
Elena Braverman is a professor at the University of Calgary in Canada. Her research interests lie on delay differential equations, delay equations of population dynamics, logistic equations, impulsive equations, and equations with distributed delay.
Giselle Monteiro has been a researcher at the Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Prague since 2017. Her research interests include generalized ODEs; Kurzweil's theory of integration and its applications in modeling of nonsmooth processes and hysteresis. She got her PhD degree at ICMC in 2012.
Hans-Otto Walther is a professor at the Mathematisches Institut der Universität Gießen in Germany. His research interests concern functional and delay differential equations, as well as dynamical systems.
Hidebrando Munhoz Rodrigues has been a professor at the Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil, since 1967. His research concern nonlinear dynamic systems, differential equations, and asymptotic behavior of continuous and discrete systems.
Ivanka Stamova is an associate professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio, USA. Her research interests concern applied mathematics, nonlinear systems, biological neural networks, stability theory, control theory, mathematical biology, mathematical economics, population dynamics and qualitative properties of functional differential equations.
Jaqueline Godoy Mesquita has been a professor at the Universidade de Brasília, Brazil, since 2015. Among her research interests are functional differential equations, impulsive equations, generalized ODEs, functional analysis, evolution equations, and dynamic equations on time scales.
John Mallet-Paret is a professor at Brown University. His research interests include ordinary and functional differential equations, specifically dynamical systems, differential–delay, lattice, and reaction–diffusion equations, as well as singular perturbations, pattern formation and bifurcation theory.
Jose Paulo Carvalho dos Santos has been a professor at the Universidade Federal de Alfenas, in Brazil, since 2006. He is expert on Functional Differential Equations focussing on periodic solutions of abstract evolution equations, integro-differential equations with delay, qualitative theory of fractional differential equations and modeling with fractional derivative.
Katia Andreia Azevedo is a professor at the Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil. She has experience in Mathematical Analysis with emphasis on functional differential equations.
Kevin Church is a Postdoctoral Fellow currently working with Dr. Jean-Philippe Lessard in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at McGill University in Montreal. His research interests include discontinuous dynamical systems, bifurcation theory, rigorous numerics and computer-assisted proofs, and modelling and control of infectious diseases.
Marcos Napoleão Rabelo has been a professor at the Universidade Federal de Goiás in Brazil since 2013. He has experience in Mathematical Physics and Numerical Modeling, with emphasis on methods based on finite differences and finite element method, working mainly on the following topics: partial functional differential equations and dynamical systems.
Milan Tvrdy is a professor at the Institute of Mathematics of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Prague. His research concerns integration theory (Kurzweil-Henstock and Perron-Stieljtes), generalized ODEs, equations with impulses and singular problems for nonlinear differential equations.
Pablo Amster is a professor at Universidad de Buenos Aires. His research interests lie on nonlinear differential equations and applications.
Pierluigi Benevieri has been a professor at the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME) of the University of São Paulo in Brazil since 2009. Among his research interests include topological degree theory, topological methods in the theory of ordinary and functional differential equations, Fredholm operators, linear, nonlinear and spectral flows and applications.
Plácido Zoega Táboas has been a professor at the ICMC, Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil, since 1971. His research interests lie on functional differential equations, more specifically in bifurcation theory, nonlinear oscillations, and asymptotic behavior of solutions.
Rogélio Grau is an Professor of mathematics at the Universidad del Norte, Colômbia. He has experience in generalized ODEs, measure differential equations, dynamic equations on time scales and partial differential equations.
Roger Nussbaum is an Emeritus Distinguished Professor of Mathematics at Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA. His research interests include functional differential equations, fixed point theory, linear and nonlinear positive operators, and their applications.
Sergio Oliva Filho has been a professor at the Universidade de São Paulo in Brazil since 1987. He has experience in reaction and diffusion equations, partial functional equations, attractors, nonlinear and retarded boundary conditions, with applications in epidemiology.
Suzete Afonso has been a professor at Universidade Estadual Paulista “Júlio de Mesquita Filho”, in Brazil, since 2011. Her expertise includes functional differential equations, differential equations with impulses, and generalized ODEs. She got her PhD degree at ICMC in 2011.
Teresa Faria has been a professor at the Universidade de Lisboa, in Portugal, since 1992. Her research interests lie on functional differential equations, focussing on local and global stability, bifurcation theory, normal forms, asymptotic behavior, persistence, permanence of equilibrium, periodic solutions and their attractiveness. Delayed population models are also among her interests.
Tibor Krisztin has been a professor at the Bolyai Institute of the University of Szeged, in Hungary, since 2000. His research interests concern infinite dimensional dynamic systems and geometric theory of differential equations with state-dependent delays.
Tomás Caraballo is a professor at the Universidad de Sevilla in Spain. His research interests concern stochastic partial differential equations, asymptotic behavior of dynamical systems perturbed by random terms, multivalued dynamical system, non-autonomous differential systems, and partial functional differential equations (deterministic and stochastic).
Xiaoying Han is a professor at Auburn University. Her research interests lie in random and nonautonomous dynamical systems with applications in the applied sciences.
