We aim to change decision-making support with the proposition of new models.
The Computational Intelligence for Operations Management Research Group is composed by professors, PhD. Students and MSc. Students in Production Engineering from the São Carlos School of Engineering of University of São Paulo.
We are passionate about advancing the field of operations performance management through cutting-edge research and innovation. Our mission is to develop sophisticated quantitative models that empower decision-makers across various industries to make informed, data-driven choices, ultimately enhancing efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
We are a dynamic and multidisciplinary team of dedicated researchers, data scientists, and domain experts, committed to pushing the boundaries of knowledge in operations performance management with computational intelligence. Our group thrives on collaboration and the pursuit of excellence in research and practical application.
Our core expertise lies in the development and application of quantitative models. We combine a diverse set of techniques, including machine learning, text analytics, grey systems theory, fuzzy logic, and multi-criteria decision techniques, all integrated with cutting-edge word computing technologies. These powerful methodologies allow us to address complex challenges in operations performance management with precision and depth.
