After the success of the 7th edition, CBI 2022, this volume contains the proceedings of the 8th International Conference on Business Intelligence, CBI 2023, held during July 19–21, 2023, in Istanbul, Turkey.
This event was organized by the Faculty of Sciences and Technology (FST), Laboratory of Information Processing and Decision Support (TIAD), SultanMoulay Slimane University, and by the Moroccan Association of Business Intelligence (AMID). CBI has become the leading scientific forum for dissemination of cutting-edge research results in the area of Business Intelligence, which is one of the most vibrant areas of interest in modern society. It is a great occasion for researchers, engineers and managers from academia and industry to share their recent research results and to present and discuss their contributions.
This volume collects the papers accepted after a rigorous evaluation realized by the Program Committee, composed of 90 international experts in various fields related to business intelligence and decision support. In total, 50 submissions were received.
The type of peer review used was Double Blind. Three reviewers reviewed each paper; however, we assigned two papers to each reviewer. The Program Committee decided to accept 15 regular papers, yielding an acceptance rate of 30%. The contributions are organized in two topical sections: “Optimization and Decision Support” and “Artificial Intelligence and Business Intelligence”.

In 2022 we had the great opportunity to organize the 7th edition of the International Conference on Business Intelligence (CBI 2022). The conference has grown to be a reputable event for the scientific and business communities. This book of proceedings collects papers accepted for presentation at CBI 2022.
CBI 2022 was organized by the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques (FST) and the laboratory of Information Processing and Decision Support (TIAD) at Sultan Moulay Slimane University along with the Association of Business Intelligence (AMID), and held during May 26–28, 2022, in Khouribga, Morocco.
For this edition, we received 68 submissions, which were reviewed by a Program Committee of 72 international experts in various fields related to business intelligence and decision support. Out of these submissions, the Program Committee decided to accept 23 regular papers, yielding an acceptance rate of 33.8%. The contributions are organized in topical sections: Decision Support and Artificial Intelligence; Business Intelligence and Database; and Optimization and Dynamic Programming.

This book of proceedings collects papers and posters accepted for presentation at the
6th International Conference on Business Intelligence (CBI 2021). CBI 2021 was organized by the Faculty of Sciences and Techniques (FST), and the laboratory of Information Processing and Decision Support (TIAD) at Sultan Moulay Slimane University along with Association of Business Intelligence (AMID), and held during May 27–29, 2021, in Beni Mellal, Morocco.
CBI 2021 received 60 paper submissions from authors at various universities, of which 43% were included in this book. The papers were selected by the event chairs and their selection was based on a number of criteria including treated topic, originality of the contribution, and comments provided by scientific committee members; each paper was reviewed by at least three reviewers. The authors of selected papers were then invited to submit revised versions.
The goal of the CBI conference is to provide an international forum for scientists, engineers, and managers in academia, industry, and government to address recent research results and to present, discuss, and share their ideas, theories, technologies, systems, tools, applications, and experiences on all theoretical and practical issues. CBI 2021 covered all topics related to business intelligence, optimization and decision support and database and web environment.
