Dr. Mohamed BASLAM earned his Ph.D. in Telecommunications and Networking through a joint supervision program between Mohammed V University, Rabat-Morocco, and the University of Avignon, France, in 2013. He later received his University Habilitation in 2018, specializing in the analysis of interaction systems between network and telecommunications actors.
Dr. BASLAM served as an ATER professor in computer science and networking at the École Normale Supérieure of Lyon in 2012 and at Télécom Saint-Étienne in 2013. Since 2014, he has been a professor and researcher at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, Sultan Moulay Slimane University in Beni Mellal, Morocco.
His research interests encompass new communication technologies and artificial intelligence, with a focus on optimizing next-generation telecommunications technologies and systems for cost-effective solutions that promote social good. Dr. BASLAM has actively contributed to the organization of several editions of the Springer International Conference on Business Intelligence (CBI), serving as co-chair from 2018 to 2023.
