Biography

El Habib Nfaoui is currently a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Fez, Morocco. He received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah, Morocco, and the University of Lyon, France, under a Cotutelle agreement (doctorate in joint-supervision), in 2008, and then his HU Diploma (Accreditation to supervise research) in Computer Science, in 2013, from the University of Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah. 

His current research interests include Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, Web Mining and Text Mining, Information Retrieval, Machine Learning and Deep Learning, Semantic Web, Web services, Social Networks, and Multi-Agent Systems. He has supervised 16 Ph.D. theses related to his research interests. Dr. El Habib Nfaoui has published in international reputed journals, books, and conferences, and has edited conference proceedings and journal special issues. 

He has served as a reviewer for scientific journals and as a program committee of several conferences. He has served as an expert at the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research (CNRST) and Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), Morocco. 

He is co-founder and Chair of the IEEE Morocco Section Computational Intelligence Society Chapter. He is a co-founder and an executive member of the International Neural Network Society Morocco regional chapter. He co-founded the International Conference on Intelligent Computing in Data Sciences (ICSD2017) and the International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Computer Vision (ISCV2015).
