KEYNOTE PRESENTATION
“My main goal for my speech is for you to feel or to realize that mathematics, data analytics, and microbiology are brothers and sisters. They can mix and benefit from each other,” states Dr. Jomar F. Rabajante. Dean of the Graduate School, University of the Philippines - Los Banos. 53rd Philippines Society for Microbiology Convention and Scientific Meeting, Keynote Speaker.
Exploring the Synergy of Data Analytics, Mathematical Modeling, and Microbiology: Insights, Challenges, and Opportunities by Dr. Jomar explores how these seemingly different fields coordinate and blend in creating an effective scientific method in order to prescribe, predict, explain, diagnose, describe, and explore. Studying data, using scientific methods, using evaluated algorithms to provide insights, overcome challenges, and create opportunities.
