Research Interests
My current research interest lies in the intersection of security, Internet of Things (IoT), wireless sensor networks (WSNs), and mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs). Within these domains, I have investigated several topics, including secure device pairing, activity recognition, data classification and feature extraction using machine learning techniques, positioning technologies, data provenance, and access control mechanisms. Currently, my focus is on addressing security challenges in IoT, WSNs, and MANETs in general and on designing and developing a comprehensive, robust, and adaptable security framework for IoT systems in particular, in order to effectively safeguard them against potential vulnerabilities and cyber threats. To advance this research endeavor, I intend to leverage my extensive experience of programming and expertise in security, IoT, WSNs and MANETs. By applying my knowledge and leveraging state-of-the-art methodologies, I strive to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that enhance the security of IoT systems and protect them from potential vulnerabilities and cyber threats
