From our early cooperation with the British supplier SCAPA-PORRITT to the establishment of SP&Ushine Co., Ltd. in 1992, we have continuously cultivated the paper industry by supporting customers in pursuing greater stability, efficiency, and sustainability in every stage of papermaking.

Founding & Early Development

● 1981 — Founder Mr. SP Lin established a partnership with the UK-based company SCAPA-PORRITT, providing professional papermaking fiber consumables and technical services.
● 1992 — SP&Ushine Co., Ltd. was established, formally deepening its presence in the Taiwanese paper industry.
● 1999 — Appointed as the Taiwan agent for VOITH PAPER papermaking machine fabrics and press roll coverings.

International Expansion in Materials & Equipment

● 2000 — Became the exclusive Taiwan agent for KAMIN kaolin products from the United States.
● 2001 — Became the exclusive Taiwan agent for CPKelco CMC (Carboxymethyl Cellulose) from Finland.
● 2010 — Taichung branch office was established; in the same year, SP&Ushine was appointed the sole agent in Taiwan for the full VOITH PAPER product portfolio, including paper machine, stock preparation system, machine fabrics, roll recover, thermal coating, machine capital equipment, machine refurbishment and chrome plating, and automation systems.

● 2018 — Developing the business territory to Vietnam market to represent Voith Paper, Meri, Toscotec as business partners.

Advancement in Equipment & System Technologies

● 2019 — Became the exclusive Taiwan agent for MERI (Germany), providing integrated technologies for wastewater, sludge, and reject handling systems.
● 2021 — Partnered with TOSCOTEC (Italy) to provide tissue machines and related technical services.
● 2025 — Introduced RKB Bearing Industries (Switzerland), expanding technical services for industrial bearings and power transmission equipment.

Driving Sustainability & Advanced Material Applications

● Present — SP&Ushine continues to introduce global technologies, support environmentally friendly and advanced material applications, and strengthen local technical service capabilities, working alongside Taiwan’s paper industry toward intelligent and sustainable Paper Making 4.0.
