1/2 inch pipe is used for the frame. Standard dimensions are 1.25 feet across and 1.5 feet high. This is a helpful tool for students that like to "peek" when reading braille. Dimensions can be adjusted if specified in the order.

Approximate size is 11 x 11.5. Black lines of the calendar are embossed before lamination. Transparent labels for the days of the week are affixed diagonally along the top rows. Words are handwritten in permanent ink. Number tiles are plastic squares with a velcro dot affixed on the underside of each and a braille number, often with text digits on top (though this is not a standard). In addition, velcro dots are added to each calendar space, spanning 5 weeks. Day tiles are added, numbering 1-31; cut Braillion strips are added for the 12 months of the year, which are also attached with velcro dots. Year strips are provided for the existing calendar year and an additional 5 years into the future. Base calendar cards come in a variety of colors, though day tiles are primarily blue.

Each sheet is thermoformed to create a raised graphic, and all include uncontracted UEB braille. Search Patterns include: Grid, Box, Vertical, Array, and Spiral. Note** Product can be made for low vision users, using black vinyl on Brailon sheets. Patterns will be cut out and labeled using the Cricut Machine. ( Vinyl lines are tactile, though much less so compared to thermoformed products.)
Note!!!. You will be sent a PDF file when ordering these books; these are not laminated or bound in the shop. Patrons can independently size these files up or down depending on student need. These are files that will be shared with patrons as view-only links.
