Required Courses

• Pre-Algebra 8 or Algebra 1 (advanced class)

• English Language Arts

• Science

• Social Studies

• W.I.N - What I Need - Intervention, Enrichment, Extension, etc.

• Physical Education and Student Success rotating every other day throughout the school year 

Application Elective Options - Year Long Classes

• AVID 8 (Application required or completion of AVID 7)

• Applied Learning Lab (ALL) (Interested Survey required)

• Bel Canto - Honors Choir (Application/Audition required)

• Yearbook (Application required)

Elective Options (No 8th grade electives will be required. All Electives are based on student request and building staffing, we work hard to make sure students have at least 3 of their 4 semesters classes they selected)

• Art 8 - Semester

• Automation and Robotics 8 - Semester

• Band 8 - Year Long (must have finished Band 7 or have teacher permission)

• Business Essentials - Semester

• Choir 8 - Semester

• Computer Applications 8 - Semester

• Intro to Trade Skills - Semester
