About me

Hi, everyone! My name is Katie Hutchison. I have been teaching ESOL and Science for 13 years. This is my 4th year teaching at Lawrence High School. I am originally from Illinois where I earned my bachelor's degree in Spanish and Biology from Augustana College in 2006 and my master's degree in Education from the University of Illinois in 2014. I live in Lawrence with my husband and my 3 kids. I love being outside, eating different foods and reading. I also LOVE teaching and I learn so much from my students every year.
