This starts with creating a safe, nurturing environment where every student is known. This is going to be an exciting year, and we cannot wait to get started!

Kindergarten Registration

& Orientation

We are excited to welcome our incoming kindergarten students for the fall of 2024-2025!

Children who reach age 5 on or before Aug 31, 2024, are eligible for kindergarten registration for the 2024-2025 School Year.

Step 1: www.usd497.org / New Student Registration / Then select the blue 2024-2025 New Student Registration button.

Step 2: Next, to complete your student's registration, provide the documents listed on the registration page by dropping them by our school office, or emailing them Tracee Sowers, Administrative Assistant tracee.sowers@usd497.org by April 4th, 2024.

Documents Needed (please provide as soon as possible)

Birth Certificate
Proof of Residency
Immunizations
Physical

Step 3: Once your student's registration is complete, you will receive an email invitation to participate in one of our Kindergarten Orientation sessions being held on April 17th.

Step 4: Please note, if you email your student's birth certificate, please bring your student's original certified birth certificate to Kindergarten Orientation to be verified.

NOTE: Children of families that are culturally &/or linguistically diverse, email cldscreening@usd497.org to schedule an appointment for your student to complete the state-mandated required screening as part of the registration process.
