First of all, I am so happy you are my student!
We will read and write every day this year because the best way to improve a skill is to practice it. Our overarching goals in any English class include becoming stronger readers and more confident and skilled writers. We will read and write complex texts that allow you to be exposed to many different genres and work with the learning targets our state has set for your course.
