New USD 497 Math Sequence
Beginning with Freshman 24-25 School Year
AMPED
Algebra 1 in Manufacturing Processes, Entrepreneurship, and Design (AMPED) will teach students all Kansas Algebra 1 standards through relevant, interactive, and fun career and technical education projects. Students will learn Algebra concepts through running a “for-profit” t-shirt and printing business and from many other hands-on and real-world activities. The development of 21st-century workplace skills such as attention to detail, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork are also emphasized. Students must also take Production Methods concurrently.
