2020-21 School Year: Implementation #3

2019-20 School Year: Implementation #2

Lansing is continuing MTSS Implementation this school year (2019-20). We are continuing to pull in the training teams (and not the full BLTs) upon BLT request. These staff will attend the 3 days of implementation training this year and then share that training back with the BLT members who did not attend, and then together will train all building staff. We coordinate with our TASN trainers to prepare for these days, and to plan our DLT meetings, which will help train up our DLT members in advance of these trainings.

Implementation Training Days will be all day 7:45am-3:30pm (lunch on your own) at the BOE (Hollie's office)

2018-19 School Year: Implementation

Lansing completed MTSS Implementation in the 2018-19 school year. We reduced the number of teachers attending training because of teacher feedback. Each building has a “training team” they designated- which was a portion of their BLT. These staff attended the 5 days of implementation training and then shared that training back with the BLT members who did not attend, and then together trained all building staff. We coordinated with our TASN trainers to prepare for these days, and to plan our DLT meetings.

2017-18 School Year: Structuring

Lansing just completed a year of MTSS Structuring. We met with state trainers for 5 days with each BLT to be trained in processes and procedures. In that time we selected our district-wide screener system for MTSS under guidance from our trainers- FAST. We will begin implementation in 2018-19.
