About Elevate 2020:

Elevate is an inspiring, district-wide conference planned for Feb 17 that allows educators to share expertise to elevate Winfield schools to the next level. In addition to tech sessions, there will be many student-centered sessions to choose from--all designed to help us make what we do more engaging for students while reducing our workload.

Goals:

• Elevate instruction
• Elevate expectations
• Elevate engagement

Objectives:

• Maximize district investment in technology and professional learning
• Build relationships between educators within the district
• Show district employees ways to use technology for greater balance of work/home
• Inspire the creation student-centered learning spaces
• Use technology to better serve a range of learning styles and differences
• Create district culture that sees itself as innovative and full of talent
• Learn and share best practices
