- Enrolled in a minimum of nine semester hours within the state of Kansas

- Enroll full time at an accredited two-year college or vocational-technical school
- Major in a trade construction
- 2.0 minimum GPA

Aaron Joel Smith Youth Volunteer Memorial Scholarship
-Resident of: Sedgwick, Butler, Barber, Cowley, Harper, Harvey, Kingman, Pratt, Sumner or Reno county
- Must be a junior or senior in high school
- Volunteered a minimum of 200 hours outside of school
