Ms. Deters

Ms. Deters teaches Skills for Adolescents . This will be Ms. Deters first year at WRMS, and her 6th year as a teacher. She loves to go to concerts and is a certified Swiftie. Books are her life, but her dog Nym is slightly more important. She has a class pet named Maxicus, who haunts her classroom.
Mrs. Bertels

Mrs. Bertels teaches American History. This will be her first year teaching at WRMS and tenth year in education. Mrs. Bertels is originally from Northeast, Nebraska (Go Huskers!) and received her bachelors from Wayne State College in 2011. In 2019, she earned her masters in curriculum & instruction with an emphasis in ESL.

Mrs. Rainey teaches Math 8 and Inegrated Math 2 and will be teaching in her tenth year at WRMS. You can always tell if the Chiefs or Jayhawks are playing because Mrs. Rainey will be sporting her team colors! You can often find her giving herself whip cream facials for a good cause.

Mrs. Louderback teaches science and will be in her eleventh year at WRMS. She coaches cross country and is a track coach. Mrs. Louderback uses her dinosaur herding skills throughout the halls, often finding three at a time.

1st Hour Plan: 7:55 am- 8:30 am
Ms. McDaniel is the WAVE team's collaborative teacher. She is a National Board Certified Exceptional Needs Specialist. She works with students and teachers in all core subjects. She also teaches 8th grade Language Live (reading) for students on all 8th grade teams. This is her 27th year teaching at WRMS. She has one daughter and three granddaughters: 32, 10 and 6 year old twins.

Mrs. Murphy teaches English Language Arts on the WAVE Team. This is her 7th year at WRMS! She is an avid classic literature and chicken enthusiast who enjoys painting, singing, and acting. Mrs. Murphy also co-directs the school play.
