Hi all,
Here's some information regarding the suffrage Cantata happening on 11/15/26 in KCMO.
What is it?
This is a concert that will present a large work by composer Andrea Ramsey. The piece has many smaller pieces within it, each representing words and texts from the women involved in the suffrage movement.
Who is involved?
From WRHS, Ambience and any volunteer trebles who want to be a part of this experience. The WU treble choir, several Topeka HS ensembles and several KC/Lawrence women's choirs are also singing on this concert.

Thursday, September 3, White Concert Hall (@ WU In Topeka), 6:30 - 8:30 PM
Thursday, October 29, White Concert Hall (@ WU In Topeka), 6:30 - 8:30 PM

Dress Rehearsal SCHEDULE
Saturday, November 14th
Load buses at 8:30am @ WRHS south doors
Arrive at Community Christian Church 9:45am (designed by Frank Lloyd Wright)
Rehearse 10am-2pm (You may bring a lunch, pay $10 for a sandwich/chips/cookie, OR wait until legends outlets later to eat)
Leave CCC for The Legends outlets. Arrive by 2:30pm
Enjoy lunch/ shopping. Load buses by 4pm.
Back to WRHS by 5:30pm.
CONCERT Schedule
Sunday, November 15th
Load buses at 11:45am at WRHS
Arrive at 1:00pm
Performance at 3:00pm
Performances finishes approx 4:00pm
Back to WRHS by 5:30pm
*Feel free to ride home with family. I will just need to know to mark you off the roster.
Tickets
This will be a ticketed audience event. Tickets are $10 for adults, $6 for students, and children ages 5 and under are free. Directors and singers are free.
Dress Code:
All rehearsals/ dress rehearsal = CASUAL
