TASN Conferences - Kansas Technical Assistance System Network (TASN) provides technical assistance to support school districts’ systematic implementation of evidence-based practices. Click on the link to see what conferences they will be hosting.


KCPT Education Conferences - Kansas City's Public Television offers educational conferences on a variety of topics, running the gamut from technology in the classroom, math, early childhood and more.

Fort Hays State SCIENCE AND MATHEMATICS EDUCATION INSTITUTE offerings - The Science and Mathematics Education Institute (SMEI) developed from a strong desire to improve and embrace the education of science and mathematics in Western Kansas. By bringing together an extensive network of educators and pedagogy enthusiastics, SMEI hopes to strengthen the comprehension of these necessary skills in not only kindergarten through 12th grade and college students, but also the surrounding community


Social Studies Opportunities - Compiled by the Council of State Social Studies Supervisors. Several organizations helped contribute to this work and are offering high quality social studies professional development for teachers across the country. Many of the opportunities are offered free or low cost, but some opportunities do include a cost.


Center for Courage and Renewal - Our mission is to create a more just, compassionate and healthy world by nurturing personal and professional integrity and the courage to act on it. To create a more just and compassionate world—and sustain the leadership we need for such a world - we need more people who can work together to solve pressing, complex problems. Responsibility can no longer rest solely with designated leaders. It requires all of us to claim our leadership roles and responsibilities. Kansas NSF EPSCoR (National Science Foundation: Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research): Various professional learning and paid offerings for Elementary through Secondary Science and Environmental educators.


KATS Events - Kansas Association of Teachers of Science supports the advancement, stimulation, extension, improvement, and coordination of science teaching in all fields of science at all educational levels. Click on this link to see all upcoming events.


MACE Conference - A Conference for Educators by Educators -The Mid-America Association for Computers in Education will be hosting their annual education technology conference in Manhattan. This is a wonderful learning and networking opportunity for educators, and a great low-cost option for school districts to support technological staff development.


Bill of Rights Institute workshops and programs offered to educators who teach in the state of Kansas. These workshops will be most applicable to teachers of grades 8-12. All Bill of Rights Institute curricula and Constitutional Workshops are specifically designed to integrate with state standards.
