Accessing Google Classroom & Google Apps

If using a Chromebook, student will need to sign in to the Chromebook using the school email address and password. Once logged in, open a web browser.  

If not using a Chromebook, open a web browser on your device and go to Google Classroom where you will be prompted to enter the student's school email address and password. 

Your child's Google Classrooms should appear in their list. If a new classroom was set up, you will need to click "Join" on the Classroom page or you can "Join a class" by hovering over the + in the top right and using the class codes provided on the Week of March 30-April 3 assignment sheet.

Q: How do I access my student's Google Account? 

A: Your student's Google Account is - FirstName.LastName@greatbendschools.net, please email Ms. Magnett to reset your password or call the GBMS office. 

Q: What if I can't watch the video or open the document? 

A:  Make sure you are logged in to your school account. Sometimes when multiple google accounts are logged in at the same time it switches to the other account. Sign out of all accounts and sign in again to using your school email and and password. 

Q: How do I access my online textbook? 

A: Option 1- Click on the Google Apps Dashboard button to the left. Option 2- Make sure you logged in to your school account, click on the Google apps, and find the textbook you need.
