This is my 18th year in education. Helping kids has been my passion since I can remember. I never thought I would leave the classroom, but this is my 5th year in the counseling position at Hiawatha Middle School, and it has been amazing. The first 13 years of my career were spent in the classroom. I have taught 3rd grade, a 3rd/4th combination class, 4th grade, and most recently I taught 6th grade math at HMS for 7 years.
