Black Gold

Black Gold is the auditioned ensemble in the Madison High School Chorus program. The group performs music from a variety of different styles including jazz, Broadway, pop, and others. Some Black Gold songs include choreography for added visual interest. Consisting of students from the Madison High School Chorus, students must pass an audition before enrolling in Black Gold.

The ensemble performs at various community events throughout the year, sings the national anthem at sporting events both in Madison and throughout the state (including State sports and even a professional hockey game!), and offers Singing Christmas Cards during the Holidays. In addition to these performances, Black Gold performs on three major concerts each school year with the High School Chorus.
