WHAT is RAMP?
The RAMP program stands for: choosing Rigor, gaining Access, maintaining Motivation, and practicing Persistence.
It is to help students develop knowledge, skills and habits for success in middle school, high school, and after.
What do students do in RAMP?
Students will be completing grade checks during RAMP to make sure their adjustment to middle school is going smoothly. They will be given some time throughout the year to create some personal goals for and reflect on how they are doing.
How are they graded?
*We will working on organization (Locker/Binders/Backpacks/Folders). Therefore, students will have weekly checks of their lockers, binders, backpacks, and folders at the beginning of the year. As the year progresses they will have less, but will be checked at least every two weeks.
*Students are expected to learn to use either a online agendas or the agenda given to them by the school. They will be check weekly.
*Students are required to participate in class lessons that will help us to prepare for the year ahead and the ones to follow.
