Head Coach Jonathan Jeffcoat
I am in my 4th year coaching cross country at Andover High and 1st year teaching math at the school. Previously, I have spent the last 6 years teaching at Heights High. I also had the privilege of coaching the Friends University Track and Cross Country programs as a distance running assistant where I helped guide the Women's Cross Country team to the conference team championship in 2019 and the men to consecutive conference runner up finishes. On the track side I helped guide numerous athletes to all conference performances and had three athletes finish as NAIA All-Americans . I was a 4 year member of the University of Louisiana at Monroe Track and Cross Country teams where I focused primarily on the 5,000 and 10,000 meter runs.
I cannot understate how blessed I feel to have the opportunity to lead this program. Andover's reputation precedes itself and I am excited to get to know and work with this awesome group and help guide this program forward to new heights.
In my free time I enjoy playing disc golf, running, and spending time with my wife, Brooke, our daughter, Lucy, and our dog, Coconut. I am also a massive Louisiana sports fan (Geaux Tigers!) and can be found watching sports at any given time.
Assistant Coach Jordon Regehr
I am in my 4th year coaching cross country and track & field at Andover High. I also teach high school math at Andover eCademy. I spent the first 12 years of my career at El Dorado teaching and coaching. I graduated from Halstead High School, while running cross country & track, and playing basketball; and from Bethel College where I played basketball and ran track.
I have Trojan blood in me as I spent the first 14 years of my life living in Andover and going to Andover schools before my family moved to Halstead. My dad taught at Andover High for 21 years, so I'm excited to be back in Trojan land!
My wife Emily and I have been married for 11 years, and we have three energetic but wonderful boys--Hudson (8), Haydon (6), & Holden (3). We don't have much time to slow down, but I guess that's how you win the race!
