When is the winter season?

Mid November through the end of January is the competitive winter season. Tryouts are at the beginning of November.

Do you have Valorant/Apex/Clash/COD/Marvel Rivals/etc.?

     KSHSAA decides which games we compete in each season. These are subject to change each year upon interest and licensing. KSHSAA decided that for the first season it would be title that can all be played on the Switch console so that schools could have a lower cost entry into the eSports world. It is expected that the state will adopt PC eSports in the future.

Will you ever have COD/R6/CS?

     No. The district does not participate in any game rated M or worse.

What equipment does the school have?

     4 Switch 2s with gaming monitors. Pro 2 controllers. Gamecube controllers. All DLC for each game and Nintendo subscriptions.

What is the esports schedule like?

     That depends on which game you are playing.

     MK - Practice: Monday 3-4:30, Match: Thursday @ 4pm

     SSBU - Practice: Tuesday 3-4:30, Match: Wednesday @ 4pm

Can I came and check it out?

     Absolutely! You are welcome to stop in during any practice or match to observe. There isn't much observation space in the lab, but we do stream our matches to our Youtube channel! We also have open lab on Fridays from 3-4:30.
