American Petroleum Institute (API)

Description: The Western Kansas Chapter of the American Petroleum Institute (API) is pleased to announce we will once again be awarding four (4) scholarships to qualifying graduating Seniors in May 2022. Each scholarship will be in the amount of$1,000 annually ($500 paid each semester) and may be renewed for up to four (4) years.  Any student in Kansas is eligible, as long as he/she is going into a petroleum related field &/or they have a parent currently employed in the oil industry.

Please note this scholarship is eligible to students enrolling in:

• Undergraduate Degree Program at an accredited two-year or four-year College;

• Certified Program at a Trade/Vocational-Technical School
