I am a 7th grade science teacher in Kansas and an Educator Fellow with Polar STEAM. I am working with Dr. Rebecca Robinson (University of Rhode Island) and her research team in the Southern Ocean from October - December 2024.

As an educator, my goal of this project involves developing an OER (Open Educational Resource) inquiry-based middle school science unit centered around an Antarctic or Southern Ocean phenomenon.
